Say Hello

Good morning

Are you enjoying getting to know our new team? Today we are half way through.

First up is returning member Karen Wilson.
Hello! I'm Karen Wilson, I have lived in Northern Arizona since 2000, I'm originally from California. I'm a proud mother to 2 kids, Jayden(2) and Nicole(6). I'm a newlywed, married to the most wonderful man, Brandon and am so blessed to have him in my life. I work as a back office medical assistant at a Pediatric office and absolutely love every minute of it.

I am hopelessly addicted to scrapbooking! I love how it allows me to capture & preserve the things that make my life go round, how it allows me to tell MY story. At the end of the day this is what helps me relax. It's my creative outlet. My favorite techniques include layering and distressing. I have a love affair with flowers and bling...but my husband doesn't need to know that.:p

If I'm not scrapping, then I am spending my time with my kiddies, or watching movies with my husband...cleaning, cooking.

And Karen's layout based on our February 15th sketch.
And our second member for today is a fresh face Linda Eggleton.

Hi my name is Linda & I live in the central west of NSW. I am married with 2 grown up kids (21 & 18) and a boxer dog named Oscar, who really has no idea that he is a dog - he thinks he is a human & is a huge part of our family life. I work part time at a busy rural medical practice.... which helps pay for my habit...LOL. Hubby is away alot with his work, so this is when I do most of my scrapping....and love it!

I have been scrapping for about 7 years & first stumbled across this wonderful craft while browsing online stores for cardmaking & quilling goodies & soon became very intrigued....and as they say, the rest is history.

I'm not sure that I have a particular scrapping style....it is forever changing. But most of my layouts will always include ribbon/lace/trim & buttons (even the grungy male layouts) & journaling (I really do like to tell the story). There are many things that motivate & inspire me to scrap - from the gorgeous products that are available nowadays, to my photos, the many challenges that can be found online, the knowledge that I am creating not just photos for future generations to have & admire, but that I am also telling our story in a creative way.....and last but not least, just having some "me" time.

I am really looking forward to working alongside such a talented group of scrappers here on the Stuck?! Sketches creative team.

And Linda's layout from our sketch.
Plenty more girls to come, keep checking back :)
